Moon was born in Kwang-Ju City, South Korea. She studied Forestry and Environmental Policy at Chun Nam National University. Upon moving to Seattle in 1999, Moon began her formal

web design and development

She is a graduate of the Web Development and Design Program from South Seattle Community College and winner of numerous design and development accolades during her time in school. Most recently she has focused her energy on improving her knowledge of cutting edge web development tools through work projects and self study. The mastery of existing web tools and exploration of emerging technologies have been her most recent focus.

Her interests outside of IT have included silk screening, gardening and recently the cooking of cuisine from countries other than her native Korea (much to the protest of her friends and family).
